Beschreibung des Angebots

Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) ist eine Nachdiplomausbildung der Hochschulen und entspricht mindestens 30 ECTS-Punkten.

The Diploma of Advanced Studies is offered in cooperation between University of St. Gallen and International Air Transport Association. The program content is delivered by academic and industry leading lecturers from HSG and IATA.

Participants will become a trusted leader by gaining greater knowledge on the global aviation industry as a whole and the crucial regulations and their impact on business strategies and operations. Frameworks for quality & safety management, as well as for auditing processes will help them and their companies to comply with these regulations.

Aufbau der Ausbildung

36 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System)

Global Air Transport Management consists of 12 modules:

  • M1* Aviation Systems and Accountable Management
  • M2 Integrated Management & Organization 
  • M3 Strategy and Business Models 
  • M4 Environment and Sustainability 
  • M5* Change Management
  • M6 Airline Cost-efficiency Practics & Value-add Strategies
  • M7 Revenue Management and Pricing with Simulation 
  • M8 Network, Fleet and Schedule Planning 
  • M9 Airline Business Models and Competitive Strategies
  • M10* Leadership Development 
  • M11 International Negotiation Skills 
  • M12 Risk Management and Safety
  • PO Transfer Paper (Supvervision by CFAC / UNISG)

* = M1, M5, M10: Recommended modules to enter the DAS program

Voraussetzungen

Zulassung

  • A minimum of 3 years of working experience
  • University degree
  • Responsibility for company / division / department / product / service / process
  • Affiliation with the Civil Aviation industry (Airlines, Airports, Ground Handling, Supply Chain, Association, Services)
  • Written and spoken English proficiency
  • Ability to travel to Switzerland, Canada and Singapore (not required for ONLINE modules in 2022)
