Beschreibung des Angebots

Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) ist eine Nachdiplomausbildung der Hochschulen und entspricht mindestens 10 ECTS-Punkten. Dieses CAS verlangt 15 ECTS-Punkte.

The programme is designed to deepen the knowledge in the field of nutrition. After a brief introduction to the basic concepts of nutrition and digital nutrition monitoring, specific topics in nutrition and metabolic diseases and nutrition and aging will be covered in depth. Other topics include the interactions between nutrition and health and the latest developments in personalised nutrition. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to assess the potential of nutrition in the context of disease treatment and prevention and evaluate appropriate therapies.

The CAS consists of 6 modules:

• Introduction to nutrition
• Digital nutrition monitoring
• Nutrition in metabolic disease
• Healthy nutrition in old age
• Food-health interactions
• Personalised nutrition

The programme is taught predominantly online with input lectures available as recordings and online interactive elements (workshops, presentations etc.)

1 ECTS-Kreditpunkt entspricht einem Aufwand von 25-30 Arbeitsstunden.
