Beschreibung des Angebots

Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) ist eine Nachdiplomausbildung der Hochschulen und entspricht mindestens 30 ECTS-Punkten. Dieses DAS verlangt mind. 35 ECTS-Punkte.

Attendees of the program gain a solid basis to understand today's challenges and problems associated with cyber security.

The DAS consists of four mandatory courses summing up to 25 ECTS points, and a set of elective courses that participants are allowed to choose from (at least 10 ECTS), in order to achieve at least the required minimum of 35 ECTS points.

• System Security (7 ECTS)
• Network Security (8 ECTS)
• Introduction to Information Security (5 ECTS)
• Applied Security Laboratory (5 ECTS)

Elective Courses:

• Security Engineering (7 ECTS)
• Security of Wireless Networks (6 ECTS)
• Information Security Seminar and Project (2 ECTS)
• Contemporary Topics in Cyber Security (3 ECTS)
• Cryptographic Protocols (6 ECTS)
• Formal Methods for Information Security (5 ECTS)
• Digital Signatures (5 ECTS)
• Applied Cryptography (8 ECTS)
• Computer-Aided Modelling and Reasoning (8 ECTS)
• Human-Centered IT Security and Privacy (3 ECTS)

Further elective courses on information security related topics, such as "Privacy" or "Software Security", are planned to be offered soon.

Total workload: approx. 1050 hours, one day per week.
