Beschreibung

Beschreibung des Angebots

Das Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) ist eine Nachdiplomausbildung der Hochschulen und entspricht mindestens 10 ECTS.

Course Description

With the CAS Leading Global Teams and Projects, we support leaders in identifying and implementing the right solutions. To do so, we focus on four core challenges of international leaders:

  • How do I internationalize the DNA of my organization?
  • What are the key success factors that need to be considered when conducting business internationally?
  • How do I continuously develop my own intercultural competence?
  • And how do I lead a diverse team of employees and external stakeholders, both in a direct and virtual fashion?

Course Content

While participating in the CAS Leading Global Teams and Projects, students move through four phases, namely

  • (Phase 1) finding solutions to the four international leadership challenges,
  • (Phase 2) receiving an assessment of their intercultural competence as well as a personal development plan,
  • (Phase 3) being directly exposed to international management and leadership situations and stakeholders, and
  • (Phase 4) transferring the knowledge and solutions to their specific leadership challenges.

Learning Outcomes

After successful completion of the program, students can:

  • apply techniques for increasing the international responsiveness and competitiveness of their respective organization.
  • forecast likely international leadership and management challenges, and broker fitting solutions based on a clear understanding of divergent stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • constructively use international experiences for continuously advancing and honing the intercultural competence of oneself and others.
  • use the strengths present in diverse teams, and lead team members by building bridges across the differences and by removing obstacles in situations of conflict and crisis.
