What the program looks like
Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) ist eine Nachdiplomausbildung der Hochschulen und entspricht mindestens 60 ECTS-Punkten.
Clinical research should have a meaningful impact on patient's life and the outcome of diseases, and it should find solutions for disease prevention and maintenance of health. The curriculum of the MAS ETH diCR extends the traditional scope of clinical research to include new, innovative, and digital approaches to foster a deeper understanding of its potential in context with the regulatory, ethical and practical environment, and the advantages of big data and personalized medicine.
Modules:
The MAS programme has a modular structure. This includes:
- CAS ETH in Digital Health
- CAS ETH in Modern Concepts in Clinical Research
- one of various elective CAS, e.g. the CAS ETH in Nutrition in Medicine or the CAS ETH in Regulatory Thinking
- A master's thesis is required for completion of the MAS.
Admission
- Master's degree acknowledged by ETH or equivalent educational qualifications in life science
- At least two years of postgraduate work experience in a relevant field
- Sufficient prior knowledge in statistics and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
