So sieht die Ausbildung aus

Das Master-Programm International Law (MIL) bietet eine umfassende Ausbildung in juristischem Wissen, Managementfähigkeiten und interdisziplinärem Grundverständnis. Es bereitet auf Karrieren in internationalen Unternehmen, staatlichen Institutionen, der Diplomatie, Compliance-Abteilungen und regulatorischen Behörden vor. Der Fokus liegt auf internationalem Recht und Interdisziplinarität, was das Programm von traditionellen juristischen Studiengängen unterscheidet, die auf die nationale Anwaltsprüfung abzielen.

Zulassung

Direkte Zulassung

Applicants with one of the following degrees from a recognised Swiss university or thouse who complete one before the degree course starts, can apply directly for the Master's programme:

  • Bachelor's degree in a similar discipline from a Swiss University.
    A degree is considered to be similar if at least 30 ECTS credit points have been awarded in legal subjects.
  • Consecutive Master's degree from a Swiss University in another discipline. Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes must have been completed in the same discipline (consecutively) and amount to at least 270 ECTS credit points together. Students must provide evidence that they have taken 30 ECTS credit points in law subjects over the entire course.

Graduates with Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees from Fachhochschulen and pädagogische Hochschulen shall not be admitted to the Master's programmes in Law.

Programme-specific additional requirements 

Depending on their previous university degree, applicants may have to satisfy additional programme-specific requirements upon admission:

  • Academic credits
  • Evidence of proficiency in a foreign language
  • Evidence of sufficient accounting knowledge
