So sieht die Ausbildung aus

  • The DAS ETH in Applied Statistical Data Science (formerly known as DAS ETH in Angewandter Statistik) introduces participants to modern applied statistical data analysis.
  • The DAS covers both “classical” methods of statistical data science and the “modern” methods that build upon them in the field of machine learning. In addition, a broad range of specialised methods is introduced. This continuing education programme allows for flexible specialisation.
  • The DAS builds on the successfully completed CAS ETH in Applied Statistical Data Science, extending the 16 ECTS credits of the CAS to a total of 30 ECTS. This includes a workshop presentation and a diploma thesis. The programme offers participants the opportunity for flexible specialisation.

Zulassung

Direct admission with:

  • Master’s degree from one of the ETHs or an equivalent degree from another university. An introductory lecture on probability and statistics should have been part of the corresponding degree.
  • Admission is based upon the personal dossier of the applicant.
