The Master of Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Logistics and Management is a part-time executive program designed for humanitarian professionals who wish to enrich their capacities and enhance their careers. 
MASHLM is more than just logistics. Students come from all over the world and work in diverse fields within a humanitarian context including logistics, procurement, HR, WASH, ICT, child protection, and transportation. They bring a wealth of knowledge from the field into the classroom, enriching lessons and ensuring project work is highly relevant.

Aufbau der Ausbildung

MASHLM provides training for humanitarian professionals in the core areas of:

• Humanitarian Action
• Supply Chain Management
• Process and Project Management
• Strategic Management

Participants attend 6 sessions in Lugano, Switzerland. Each session lasts 1 week, except the final session which is 12 days and includes thesis defense and graduation.  All courses are taught in English and the program takes 1 year to complete.  This part-time format allows participants to earn their Master's degree while working full-time.

Students earn an Advanced Master's degree and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificate awarded by the Università della Svizzera italiana.
