Beschreibung

Beschreibung des Angebots

Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) is a postgraduate qualification awarded by universities and corresponds to at least 30 ECTS credits.

This university-level continuing education program provides in-depth knowledge and practical skills in the field of sustainability within financial institutions and markets. Core aspects of sustainability in investment, banking, and corporate finance are complemented by applied, case-specific expertise.

The program consists of compulsory, core elective, and elective courses. Individual course selection from the core elective and freely selectable modules allows for a focus on specific topics within Sustainable Finance. A written thesis is not required to complete the DAS in Sustainable Finance.

All ECTS credits earned in the DAS in Sustainable Finance are fully transferable to the MAS in Sustainable Finance, enabling a transition to the MAS at a later stage. The DAS is taught in both English and German.

Aufbau der Ausbildung

1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of work. 

Voraussetzungen

Zulassung

  • Completed university degree required
  • Master's degree or equivalent qualification (e.g. Bachelor's or university of applied sciences degree)
  • Additional professional experience required for Bachelor's or university of applied sciences degree holders
  • Sur dossier admission possible for experienced professionals without a university degree
  • Relevant work experience required

Target audience 

The vast majority of course participants are professionals working in the banking and finance industry in Switzerland and its neighboring countries. A smaller group of participants work in insurance companies, corporate finance departments in other industries, or in the public sector.
